Self-taught and Wisconsin-based. Art is a creative outlet and an escape—a way to slow down, observe, experiment, and make something that lasts.
I’m drawn to the outdoors, wildlife, travel, and the small details that tend to stick with you. When I’m not tied to a desk, I’d rather be fishing, hunting, or somewhere with fewer screens and more trees. Game, fish, wild places, and a pull toward the unknown tend to find their way into the work.
Lately, I’ve been working in sketching, fine line, acrylic markers, watercolor, small canvases, doodles, and iconography—usually somewhere between natural and graphic, with the occasional dose of grim.
Mood, texture, and character over realism. I like imperfect lines, visible process, and work that still feels human.
